Yusif Akbarov is a member of the Data-Driven Industrial Systems group with interests in industrial systems, logistics, and data-driven methods. He currently serves as a Teaching Assistant for Production Planning and Control and AI and Data Management for Industrial Solutions, where he supports teaching and learning activities in the group.

He is also working on his thesis on causal reinforcement learning for sustainable city logistics. His work contributes to the group’s research on the application of advanced AI methods to industrial and urban systems, with a particular focus on sustainability-oriented decision support.
