Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant

I am a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Data-Driven Industrial Systems group at Constructor University Bremen. Originally from Ethiopia, I am pursuing a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management, with a growing academic interest in manufacturing, industrial systems, and data-driven problem-solving. My profile combines university-based teaching experience with practical industrial exposure. At Constructor University, I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Basics of Manufacturing Technology, where I further strengthened my foundation in manufacturing processes, engineering design, and CAD-related applications.

In addition, I gained hands-on industrial experience as a Process Development Intern at WARYT Furniture Manufacturing, where I was exposed to practical process-related challenges in a manufacturing environment and further developed my teamwork skills. I currently serve as a Teaching Assistant for Production Planning and Control and AI and Data Management for Industrial Solutions. Alongside this, I am writing my bachelor thesis on Designing Counterfactual “What-If” Scenarios for Logistics Digital Twin Replays, contributing to the group’s work on digital twins, logistics analytics, and AI-based decision support.
